Why do you hate UCLA basketball so much?

People have been talking about how good UCLA is and how much they deserve to be in the Final Four in the Men's NCAA basketball tournament.

Let me get this straight: UCLA does NOT deserve to be anywhere close to the Final Four.

The reasons are simple.

UCLA is the only #1 seed to struggle in more than one game in the tournament. Some of you may believe in "survive and advance," but what has UCLA survived? Mediocrity? Inconsistency? Maybe, they survive like the contestants on Survivor, with the help of the island staff (a.k.a. THE REFEREES).

Kansas, North Carolina, and Memphis, each had no problem advancing to the Final Four. They deserve the trip more than any other team. UCLA is lacking. I need more than one hand to count the close games UCLA has won in the late minutes with a little help from the referees.

Also, add this to the fact. UCLA needed obvious home-court advantage to show their so-called "greatness". Each of the other three #1 seeds dominated their competition no matter where they played.

I'd like to see UCLA advance to the Final Four in an area where their home court isn't even close to being in the vicinity. I'd like to see them play in Detroit like Kansas.

Regardless of what has happened previously, UCLA will bow out in the semifinals. I could actually see them getting blown out, saving the bows for their fans back home. Scratch that, I would love to see them get demolished.

Enough about UCLA. Who else thinks the Final Four is rather boring this year? All #1 seeds (yawn). I watch the tournament to see teams get hot at the right time and silence the Goliaths. I've seen games like the Final Four all year long. I haven't seen Davidson knock out the likes of Georgetown, North Carolina, and other super powers.
