Full Question: I am having a real scary problem with a neighbor. He has verbally abused me, come very close to hitting me with his truck at least 3 times on purpose, & spray painted my fence. I have called the police several times, but they tell me unless they see him doing something, they cannot do a thing! What are my options?

I think you should talk to him and tell him what he is doing is wrong. Remember to keep it calm and cool and try to come to a compromise. If that does not help, make sure you have a camera ready and take pictures of all the abusive acts he has been doing. That should be enough evidence to take it to the police.
